Clients who select Barnert Subacute Rehabilitation Center immediately become part of our family. When not participating in rehabilitative treatments, they may join in a wide-range of creative and interesting activities throughout the day and evening, including art therapy, movies, games and music. At meal time, they can enjoy our chef ’s healthy cuisine with other guests in the dining room, or in the comfort and privacy of their own room.

Our main focus is on returning clients to their homes at an optimal level, as expeditiously as possible. This is why our team creates individualized treatment programs and therapy plans that produce measurable results.

Our experienced and knowledgeable staff enables us to assign our clients a dedicated rehabilitation team that includes physicians, physiatrists, nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists, a social worker, a recreation coordinator and a registered dietitian who is a certified diabetic educator. Together, this team coordinates and oversees treatment and, when needed, works closely with all medical specialties such as orthopedists, cardiologists, neurologists and pulmonologists, to ensure clients receive the highest-quality, comprehensive care available.
